Is your Environment helping you to propel towards a wonderful, abundant future? Or is it keeping you stuck in the past? Here is an exercise that you can do yourself which will help you immediately identify if your home or office is impeding your health and wellness or accelerating your growth and expansion.
It is imperative that everything in your environment is something that brings you joy as that will be the daily suggestions that you give to you (even if you are unaware of it). This will also keep you focused on the joyful things in life, because that is what you want to manifest, right?
Begin with the front entrance since it is the first thing you see and use everyday. You may want to do this with a piece of paper so you can write down important notes as you go.
Starting at the front entrance, allow yourself to imagine that it is the first time you are looking at your home.
Pay attention to what you notice first. Where is your eye drawn? Do you like what you see? More importantly, what is the first thing you feel? What comes to mind? Tranquility? Escape?
Or are there negative associations, like an overwhelming sense of what needs to be done the minute you walk in the door or perhaps who or what is behind that door. Write down the first things that come to your mind even if it doesn’t make any sense.
Remember to let your unconscious answer.
*TIP: You will know when your unconscious mind answers you because it is the first response that pops into your head.
The answer you receive will show where you are currently in your life. Follow this all the way through your home or office. Allow yourself to also see your space from different angles. Sit in seats you wouldn’t normally sit in. Get perspective by positioning yourself behind, in front, to the left and to the right of each room and its contents. You may feel suprised at what comes up.
Notice what you fill your space with. What particular kinds of furniture, art or accessories have you chosen along the way. Pick up these items and write down the first thoughts or feelings that come to you. Are you keeping that picture solely because it was a gift and you don’t actually like it? Listen to what those pieces are saying to you.
For example, if you have an art piece that depicts a lone and baron land, is that a perfect representation of what you want to create in your life? Is there a corner or a closet that you choose to avoid because it’s overwhelming just to look at? Well then it’s time to clear them out, remove them, or give them away and notice how quickly you and your space changes.
Feel free to share you experience of this exercise
